SmartCat Multi-Level Cat Climber Review:

Why didn’t someone think of this sooner? This cat tree and scratcher combination is specifically designed to hang on any standard door inside the home.

The Cat Climber from SmartCat is the perfect choice for those with smaller houses or apartments, or for people who don’t want to have to remove some of their furniture so they can add a traditional cat tree.

SmartCat Multi-Level Cat Climber

Multi-Level Cat Climber

The SmartCat Cat Climber has a sturdy frame that is constructed from durable wood, so it will withstand years of harsh usage from your feline. It can be is easily moved from door to door because of the spring loaded bracket attachment system.

The scratching areas are covered in natural sisal – which most cats love because it is ideal for scratching.

The perch areas are covered in a comfy carpet for lazing on, which also can be used for scratching and to claw into if they happen to slip or fall off.

The perches are also nicely placed so cats have an easy time navigating it, especially getting down. This is where some of the cat scratching posts that are available are not all that safe.

It is important that the cats can get from top to bottom safely – especially if they are little kittens.

Some people have said that the SmartCat Multi-Level Cat Climber can be a little tricky to install initially, so you may want to take that into account. But once installed they have found it to be a great addition for their cats.

One of the best things about this cat climbing frame is that it can be moved from room to room, and I know how much cats love to have things changed around a bit.

Have it one week in your lounge room … and another in your bedroom … then in the laundry. Some cats may not enjoy having their unique cat scratcher moved, but most will.

So mix it up, give your cat a different perspective from time to time and see how much she likes that.

All in all it is a very good unit for your cat to be able to scratch, sleep, play and get some good, healthy exercise in safety.

“I have three in my house, one for each cat”, says designer Angela Moser. “Our cats love it when we move them around the house, it’s like a new adventure for them.”

  • Great unit for scratching, climbing, sleeping, and exercising
  • Natural sisal post is ideal for scratching
  • Spring-loaded bracket system makes it easy to move from room to room
  • Easy assembly
  • Fits on virtually any door

SmartCat Cat Climber Customer Reviews

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty nice. By Andrew: My cat loves getting to the top of this. It is a little week at dead center (right above the 2nd tier) but that was fixed by adding a little duct tape between this and the door. Overall I’d say it is a good product and would recommend it to anyone with a strictly indoor cat.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very nice! By K. Gaston (Florida): I’m a sixty year old woman and the cat climber was a little tricky to assemble, took me about 30 min.s. Hanging the door was a challenge, might be easier with two people. The bottom of my door would not allow the bracket to clear from the front but I was able to slide it onto the door from the side, with the door wide open. It is solid when all togeather and only moves a bit against the door. Anyway, my cat likes it and has been up and down twice since I installed it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pain to put together, but worth worth it! ByK. Ollis (America): The instructions are pretty useless for putting it together and a little user error had it on the door upside down at first. Once it’s together and on right, it’s awesome. Great for kitties that like to explore. Our younger kitten took to it pretty quickly, our older one is still deciding if it’s worth jumping up for. We live in a small apartment with no where to put a regular cat tree, so this is very effective.
